The National Equity Atlas estimates that 12.4 million people in the US are working poor, which is a significant increase from 1980 when the number was less than 7 million Works Progress Administration 1941, Library of Congress. Of all of President Roosevelt's New Deal programs, the Works Progress Administration (WPA) is the most famous, because it affected so many people's lives. Roosevelt's work-relief program employed more than 8.5 million people. We need to bring back the program WPA (Works Progress Administration). This is the machinery that will allow a path to gainful employment for the unemployable and citizenship to those who seek a new life. None of the Presidential candidates have a plan for the people.. .

We paid over $3.8 billion dollars to Israel last year. We only gave $1.1 billion to Wyoming. Unless a country is planning to pay money back to the United States with interest, any country that would incur this kind of debt should be on the fast track to becoming a Territory of the United States or no more financial support. Instead of a two state country with Palestine and Israel they would be part of a larger democratic community, Guam, Porta Rico and D.C. should be given statehood by the choice of the people. These locations should set the standard as to how a country could become a state of the United States they should be part of the 50 or more States of the United States.

We need to unify the Veterans Administration and Medicaid to offer service at every hospital and eliminate Medicaid fraud.
We need to take everyone who is sleeping on the street and get them housing and a plan to recover. We need to unify to meaningfully fix the problems that we already have.
We must create an industry for solving problems on a planetary scale. Along with technology, comes opportunity.
We begin by bringing back the WPA (Works Progress Administration) to deal with those who have fallen through the cracks or just want to be citizens. One day soon there must be a type of bastille day to allow those who have been incarcerated for unfair laws at the time to find their way. We must recover our empty cities. There must be statehood for many territories and citizenship for many who come to us for physical salvation. We must make all the states of the United States a sustainable paradise individually and collectively for all species in that ecosystem. We must uplift as many of our people to help them to be emotionally, physically and intellectually able to sustainably live here in our communities. We should be helping each other to have a better life. There are only two ways for the candidate " Arthur Harris" the write-in candidate can win,(1. if you believe that this platform is the best option for the continued growth, prosperity and safety of the United States. You must then convince two people to write my name, "Arthur Harris" on the general election ballot and convince two of your friends to do the same, and so on and so on, to sign my name "Arthur Harris", on the presidential general election ballot for president of the United States. 2). Join together and create petitions in your state with thousands of names for my name to be on your state's general election ballot. In 5 months, we could actually win.
None of the other candidates know how to deal with any of the human issues we are facing today.. I believe that we need every human to be a part of our next journey. We need to be alert, smart, aware and ready to do good. We need to change the attitude of the government to want to help citizens, then actually help them.
Answers to Debate Questions 6/27/2024
The economy
I believe we need a balanced budget, I believe we need a 17% flat tax, I think we need to rid ourselves of fraud in Medicaid and Medicare by revamping the VA. I believe we need to make those 19,000,000 immigrants American taxpayers. We want everyone to have the option to become an American.
Abortion rights
I believe in Roe v. Wade. I believe in the right of women to choose to have a child. There are enough children that are not wanted. I believe the government needs to stay out of the bedroom.
Immigration and homelessness
Our borders need the help of our military. For years ICE has wanted the help of the military well here you go. I believe those who want to become an American should start by coming in legally. We need to restart the Works Progress Administration. There are over a million people sleeping on the street every night. There are over 10 million people we don’t even know their name. More are on the way. One day soon there will be an American Bastille Day. Millions of people will be released nationwide who have been in prison for prolonged period of time for marijuana. But because the rules are changed they have to be released. All of these people have one thing in common, they will be living on the street unless we figure out what to do with them. I suggest we house them, we feed them, we train them, insure their children are safe and are trained. That is by bringing back the Works Progress Administration.
Opioids
With the military working with immigration system and border control we might get a better grip on what is entering the country. The biggest problem is the demand. Many people are overlooked and are hopeless. These people need help and soon they will be joined by a million people being released from prison. We need a way to help these people come back. I suggest the WPA. I think the opioid epidemic is just symptomatic of another problem, hopelessness. I have a plan to get them therapy, housing and training, using the WPA.
War in the Ukraine and Israel
I believe that, any money, or equipment should never be given without payback with interest. We should have a clear defined path for citizenship and statehood. We should offer statehood to Puerto Rico and Guam. We should also offer territory to Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Haiti, the many states of Mexico, many States of Canada, Israel and Palestine, Ukraine and Soviet Georgia. The first thing the country must do is put it to the general vote and would first become a territory, as Guam and Puerto Rico did. Then it must come to a national vote to become a state. I don’t think we should ever offer a blank check with no payback.
Would I agree to Putin's plan to end the war?
No, I believe that, it must come to a vote by the people of that country and the people of Russia. I believe that if the stupidity continues we should start disassembling Russia by offering the people of Russian Georgia and the Ukraine the opportunity to become territories of the United States.
Would I disagree with the election
No, I believe in democracy. I believe free elections are the only way we can have a say in our government
Black America
I believe that given a chance to live well most would want that. I believe that, the black and many others are traditionally challenged. Everyone needs a seat at the table. I believe that anyone who is poor or is here for recovery or protection can work through the WPA. No one would be without food, shelter, training and hope. I believe that we can get rid of Medicaid fraud and rebuild the VA at the same time.
The Climate
We need to get prepared for even worse weather. We’re going to be the ones who will be rescuing others. We need to stage a platform for humanity to survive the worst possible scenarios including objects flying from space and other mass extinction events
Final remarks
I think we will need to learn to find a path towards unity as a species. Everyone needs a seat at the table. Humanity has to unify in order to survive the future. There is a way if we change our thinking to be more inclusive. The founders were brilliant when they came up with The United States. The anagram being US. Everyone should want to be like US. The reason we are so great is because of our diversity. We are great because we are free.
